Pendean c.1630

Stuart clothing made to be worn in Pendean, a timber-framed and brick house originally from West Lavington, West Sussex, built in 1609.  The house is presented as it might have been around 1630.

The woman is wearing a linen headcloth, kerchief, weld-dyed linen waistcoat with undyed linen oversleeves, a woollen petticoat with cartridge pleating and a linen apron.
